Garden Club Home Tour
Hosted by the Port Aransas Garden Club, guided and selfguided tours of homes ranging from "island treasures to spectacular beachfront properties" will be featured. 

Port Aransas Museum and Farley Boat Works.  
The Museum and Farley Boat Works are dedicated to preserving and encouraging the reservation, restoration and reproduction of historical buildings, structures, sites, objects, culture and customs of Port Aransas.  The Museum, located at the corner of N. Alister Street and East Brundett Street is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1-5 and provides visitors with a history of Port Aransas.  The Farley Boat Works, 716 Avenue C, is a restored boat shop and now is a living museum with a functional boat building shop.  Click on the image below to watch a short video of local children building their first boat.

Whooping Crane Festival
During February, the town hosts the Whooping Crane Festival. Not only will you be able to come out and enjoy some amazing food, but also the attractions and exhibits are something that everyone will love. This annual festival commemorates the whooping cranes that make their homes in Port Aransas throughout the winter months. You can experience photography workshops, trade shows, exhibits, speakers, bus tours, boat tours and arts & crafts all in one convenient location.

Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center
Birding on the Boardwalk, Wednesdays 9AM 

Birders Meet Up! Join our experts at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center to experience birding from the new boardwalk. This walk will be short along our boardwalk, but offers great vistas for watching all our wonderful birds. Guides Ray Dillahunty and Leslie Hoesktra will lead the group in discovering all the Center has to offer.

All experience levels are welcome, and binoculars are available for loan.

Beachtoberfest

Sand Fest
Largest Master Sand Sculpting Competition in the U.S. This family event offers attendees a weekend of fun on the beach while viewing these magnificent works of sand art.
